‘99 A positive Cariplo and Ambroveneto
The ordinary shareholders of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto (Gruppo Intesa) today approved the 1999 budget, which closed with a net profit of 352 billion (+52% from ‘98). ROE is therefore increased from 13:13% to 23:07%. The board meeting after the meeting confirmed the Bank’s Managing Director Thomas Carton, and has been expanded, the Executive Committee appointed the Board Marco Casu among its States.And the Ordinary Assembly of Cariplo (Gruppo Intesa) has approved the accounts of ‘99, which closed with an increase in net profit of 685 billion, against 522 billion in 1998 (+31%). Particularly evident was the trend of asset management, with over 73.541 billion recorded a 26% increase over last year.
